The Invisible Man of the title is Griffin, a scientist who has devoted himself to research into optics and invents a way to change a body's refractive index to that of air so that it neither absorbs nor reflects light and thus becomes invisible. He successfully carries out this procedure on himself, but fails in his attempt to reverse it. An enthusiast of random and irresponsible violence, Griffin has become an iconic character in horror fiction.

This is an unframed original pastel drawing of 'The Invisible Man'.

The size is 11.6 x 16.5" on 355gsm acid free Canson Paper. Artwork comes signed, dated.  The artwork is one of my unframed original pastel drawings, and I never repeat the same artwork twice.

Watermark does NOT appear on original artwork.

What are pastels?

Pastel is one of the most permanent art mediums in existence. Many pastels painted over 200 years ago are still as bright and fresh as the day they were created. They are actually superior to oils in that they will not crack or darken over time and every bit as permanent. The pastels of Degas and Cassatt were created back in the 1800's and still just as beautiful as the day they were completed.

Which pastels do you use?

I use Art Spectrum® Soft Pastels which provide colors that are pure and brilliant. The highest quality
pigments sourced from around the world are triple milled at maximum
concentration producing smouldering darks, intense pure colors and a range of subtle and delicate tints.

Your original artwork.

Your new pastel artwork is a hand-painted work of fine art. I use the best archival materials for its creation. If properly taken care of, your painting will last for many lifetimes.

Framing your artwork

Professional framing is ALWAYS recommended. Choose
a framer who is experienced in working with fine art pastels. A framer who works mostly with posters and printed reproductions or oil paintings may not realize that pastels take special handling. Do not risk the welfare of your pastel in the hands of an inexperienced framer. Pastels are surprisingly durable so don't be afraid to purchase one. They will last every bit as long as an oil painting. If you have any other
questions or concerns leave them in the comments for me and I will try
to answer them asap.
